Milford Pride will be hosting a community vigil and gathering to honor Transgender Day of Remembrance. TDOR, observed on November 20, is an annual day of mourning and community care dedicated to honoring the lives of the trans people lost to transphobic violence.

This is a secular event hosted in partnership with First UCC Milford and the Woodmont UCC Rainbow Alliance. Doors open at 6:30pm and the event will begin at 7:00pm.

Accessible parking and entry will be available; please look for the signage and the Milford Pride volunteers. Speakers will include Sam Avery of Sam Avery Media, Julia DeCola of Our Trans Life, and Jillian Celentano, author, therapist, and educator. The program will run from approximately 7-7:45pm followed by refreshments and time to be in community with one another until 8:45pm.
